Most of the summer has provided us with opportunities to dive into the story of “The Last Ship” season 3, which has been by and large a thrill ride and also a political nail-biter. This has always been a show to emphasize danger. With that being said, it’s being lifted to yet another level now with the inclusion of more stories in St. Louis, especially following the death of President Michener.
Now that we know that there was a vast conspiracy behind the spread of the cure (or lack thereof), we’re more excited than ever to know what’s coming up next! Unfortunately, we now come with bad news: There is no new episode of the show airing tonight on TNT.
So what’s the reasoning for this? It is as simple as TNT not wanting to run against the first Sunday of the Olympics. By the time the show returns on August 14, the assumption is that some of the hype and the buzz from Rio will have dissipated, and they will not have to worry about losing viewers. Sure, “The Last Ship” was already renewed for a fourth season, but you still want the numbers to be as great as possible.
We don’t want to leave you empty-handed when it comes to scoop from the show, so let’s end this with some news on the upcoming August 21 episode entitled “Scuttle.” Per SpoilerTV, Chandler is going to find himself in a rather trying situation, as he received an unusual order from the government. This has been a season of tough choices, so we’re hardly surprised that is continuing the remainder of this season.
