Earlier this evening, the “Big Brother” live feeds came back on after a significant amount of downtime to reveal something that was rather clearly the darkest timeline for many fans out there: Paulie sporting the Power of Veto necklace. He’s won, and now we’ve got to sit around and deal with the aftermath of that … which probably includes more arrogance and another predictable eviction coming up.
As of right now, it doesn’t seem like Paulie is going to be using the Veto to make any bold move. Nominations are likely to remain the same, though he is cognizant of the fact that Zakiyah will be really angry at him over not using it. Therefore, there is a little bit of a contingent in the game to try and get rid of her now.
However, Paulie at the same time has made it clear to some that he would like to keep her a couple more weeks until after both Michelle and then Bridgette are gone from the game … even though Paul has tried to convince him otherwise. There are some claims that Michelle is a bigger threat emotionally, which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. What we do know is that she is someone who is capable of having her head in the game more given that Zakiyah has been in Showmance City for much of the past month. Plus, big fans of the show can be dangerous near the end. (We know Zakiyah’s watched the show as well, but she didn’t engage in the fandom the way that Michelle did going into the game.)
Ultimately, the Veto Ceremony’s on Monday, and the next eviction show is days after that. There is plenty of time for a plan to be locked in. We just hope that at some point, someone at least does something to make Paulie a little less arrogant and a little more fearful.
