TV Quick Hits: ‘Mom’ season 4, ‘The Flash’ season 3 scoop; Seth Rogen ‘battles’ Jimmy Fallon
Jimmy Fallon vs. Seth Rogen – What better way to kick of this edition of TV Quick Hits with a little bit of an OG “Lip Sync Battle”? On Friday night’s edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Rogen (who is promoting his “Sausage Party” animated movie) took to the stage against Fallon for what may be one of the biggest blowouts in the history of the segment.
First, Rogen went for some complete pandering with the house band The Roots, performing their 1995 hit “Mellow My Man.” From there, he then proceeded to perform fellow countryman Drake’s hit “Hotline Bling,” complete with the sweater and some of the awkward dance moves. In a word, this was fun … and it shows that Seth pretty much wins at anything that he he commits to.
You can check out the full video of the performance at the bottom of this article. As for some other headlines.
Expect something different from Caitlin on “The Flash” season 3 – How different? “Totally different,” Danielle Panabaker insists to Entertainment Weekly, adding that “all the relationships are different” thanks to the Flashpoint twist. We saw Caitlin briefly in the trailer alongside billionaire Cisco Ramon, which makes us wonder if she was either a work partner of his glammed-up, or if they are together in some romantic fashion in that world.
Hey, aren’t there some Cisco / Caitlin ‘shippers out there? We certainly would not be mad.
“Mom” returns Rosie O’Donnell – EW also reports that the CBS sitcom has booked Rosie once more for a guest spot in the upcoming fourth season. She will once again be playing Jeanine, the ex of Allison Janney’s character of Bonnie.
