‘Gotham’ season 3: See new photos of Ben McKenzie, Robin Lord Taylor, cast
With “Gotham” preparing for its Monday, September 19 premiere, Fox is putting out all of the stops to build excitement — and that includes releasing a ton of the latest character photos featuring the cast.
If you look below, you can enjoy a gallery of new images featuring everyone from Ben McKenzie (Jim Gordon) to Robin Lord Taylor (Penguin a.k.a. Oswald Cobblepot) to even Jada Pinkett Smith (Fish Mooney). It’s an interesting collection of people for a wide array of different reasons.
1. There are a number of people featured here, including Fish, who we did not anticipating getting a moment to shine in a promotional-photo gallery. We’re not entirely sure just how long she is going to be around for, even if we do personally hope it’ll be for a good while.
2. There are also some series regulars who are not featured in some of the photos that have been out there so far. Maybe there only so many people available on the day, and some more were coming out later.
In the end, we do give Fox some major credit here for releasing what are by and large some really snazzy photos promoting the third season. After all, many shows often choose either to not give you new promotional photos on a regular basis, or really take the lazy road out and give you some that are poorly-Photoshopped and look like they could have been done by someone in the span of an hour. These are a good reflection on many of the characters.

Looking forward to the return of Gotham, but in season two Cameron Monaghan stole the show in his trio of episodes. Hope by the end of the season he is back!

It’d be interesting to see if maybe Jerome had a twin or some doppelganger out there — if Bruce can, who knows?

And if I could wish for one character to be gone, it would be the one who I didn’t miss at all last season, and realized how much I was glad she was gone until she was back at the end. In other words, I hope that any minimal time wasted on Fish is over quickly. I hate to be negative, but she was a real albatross for me before, draining so much time and energy.
