‘Vice Principals’ episode 4 preview: School spirit (and/or destroying it)

This past episode of “Vice Principals” ironically spent the majority of its runtime away from the school, and we enjoyed it all the more for it. It gave us a little bit more of an emotional look at Neal Gamby, and how at the end of the day, he just wants to be loved. He just has an incredibly creepy way of going about it with Amanda.

Also, we learned that in some awful way he is rather good at his job … or at least the part of that involves him keeping track of where students are during their field trips and whatever despicable things they could be doing.

Going into this weekend’s new episode, we’re going to see Neal team up once more with Lee Russell, and their top priority should be fairly evidence rather quickly: Breaking Dr. Belinda Brown in whatever way they can courtesy of a rivalry with a rival school. Will there be school spirit? Absolutely, but there’s also a good chance that there will be chaos. Neal and Lee will probably come up with some hair-brained idea that goes too far, and cause problems for both schools in the process.

Or, who knows? Maybe the two guys will stumble into yet another win. One of the more remarkable things about the show to date is that despite being horrible human beings (and in Russell’s case, a complete and utter psychopath), Dr. Brown continues to think that they are good at their jobs and completely have her back. Instead, they’re ready to metaphorically stab her in it.
