‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6 and the dangers of the (new) Evil Queen

We definitely saw a great deal of the Evil Queen side of Regina back during the entirely of “Once Upon a Time” season 1, and as a result of that, we know what she’s capable of. Not only that, but there is no real confusion as to whether or not she’s a villain worthy of fear. She was terrible then, so imagine what she could end up being like now that she is split from the one side of her holding her back.

Is Lana Parrilla still playing the character? Sure, but per what Josh Dallas told Entertainment Weekly, this really is akin to her being a mostly different person:

“She’s going after everybody … She’s taking no prisoners. She’s really doing some mental manipulation with everybody, and it’s going to turn everybody inside of themselves. They’re going to have a lot internally to deal with.”

As we’ve noted in the past, one of the biggest problems with Regina showing up in this sort of way is that almost nobody has any knowledge as to what is going on. Therefore, she is infinitely more dangerous to be around. She could wreck havoc throughout Storybrooke while making everyone think that the other Regina is behind it.

Suffice it to say, we figure that this is going to be a heck of a fun season for us as a viewer — even if it’s not nearly as much fun for the people in the town who have to deal with it. We can only imagine the sort of hell that they have to deal with.
