‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 4 spoilers: Chloe Bennet teases ‘rogue’ Daisy Johnson

Agents -Whether you call her Daisy Johnson, Skye, Quake, or anything else, one thing remains the same about the “Agents of SHIELD” character: She remains a formidable force, and someone constantly worth watching.

Unfortunately, circumstances have caused Daisy to go away to a certain extent from the person she was during the first few seasons. As you saw during the end of the finale, she is on the run, and Coulson (who is no longer the Director) is one of the people searching for her. Is she a hero, a villain, or something in between now? As Chloe Bennet tells TVLine, the answer may fall somewhere in between:

“You’ll see coming up that there might be chaos happening and buildings might be collapsing and bridges might have been broken, but people are always miraculously saved and taken care of, the bad guys always seem to be losing … I think she’s becoming more of a vigilante than maybe she would like. I think she’s trying to do good.”

If she is trying to be a hero, why take off from the team? It’s a good question, and one Bennet says may be due to her feeling that everyone who gets closer to her ends up getting hurt. After what happened to Lincoln at the end of season 3, we understand that sentiment to a certain degree. Yet, at the same time she may realize that it is best to let other people make the decision for themselves as to whether or not they want to be around her, as opposed to the other way around.
