Earlier this evening, Victor had a chance to celebrate given that for the first time all season, he has some actual power in the “Big Brother” game! The guy won Head of Household, and now has a chance to make a move to significantly alter the game … though we don’t exactly think that he is going to do that.
While Victor has been fairly quiet since winning power, we’ve certainly seen quite a bit of Paulie speaking for him, and the idea here definitely seems to be nominating Michelle and Zakiyah. They are the two on the outside of the house, and he made a deal that he would not nominate Natalie after she fought so hard against him in the HoH competition.
Here is what we wonder, though: How much will he take Da’Vonne’s final words to him seriously? If there was a time to try to make a move on the guys, he could do so here by putting them up. The problem, unfortunately, is that so many of them are well-protected. For example, if you nominate Corey and Paulie, odds are you alienate Nicole and Zakiyah. Michelle and Zakiyah are really the only options that keep the majority happy. Victor can please the many in doing the predictable thing, but he will likely be leaving the game soon. Or, he can try to prolong his stay with something riskier, which could have him out the door in the double-eviction.
We should make it clear that what Da’Vonne whispered is hardly a secret in the game, given the fact that Paulie seems to be aware of it. This could be a week where Paulie could be really reliant on Paul to help liaise with Victor, and carry out whatever mission it is that he wants to see completed.
