‘Zoo’ season 2, episode 8 preview: The latest struggle with Jackson’s mother

It wasn’t so long ago on “Zoo” that we first learned that Jackson’s mother was still alive, and we gotta say that this turned out to be quite the spectacular reveal! Sure, we felt that it was a possibility, but the writers smartly chose to keep that secret on the back-burner for a little while in order to work on some other story threads for a while.

For next week’s all-new episode entitled “Zero Sum,” and one of the defining characteristics of the story could be Jackson learning about his mother being missing in Africa. This presents a tremendous opportunity for him to spring into action … if he is able to, given that there is something else that could serve as interference aboard the plane. Given how much this team travels, they certainly need the plane! Let’s just hope that it’s not snakes, since somebody may need to send in Samuel L. Jackson to lend a helping hand.

As for what else is coming up, we can tell you that some things could change for Jamie and Abraham in the way of a big secret that she learns about him over the course of the episode. We cannot really say what it is or what it will mean, but hopefully there’ll be some answers soon.

In general, we’re certainly more than stoked about nearing the end of the season. We are in the home stretch, and with that comes more action and (hopefully) more surprises. We shall see what happens when the series airs…
