The second season of “Quantico” is going to be coming up on ABC this fall, and based on some of the initial details that the network has released, we’re not going to see things slow down at all. Alex will begin training with an entirely different organization in the CIA, and in the process, she could encounter far more danger and trouble than she ever thought possible.
Want to get a little bit more when it comes to insight? Then take a look at the just-released synopsis:
“When season two begins, Alex finds herself at “The Farm,” the CIA’s mysterious training facility. As Alex navigates the dark world of espionage, far different and more dangerous than what she’s learned before, she’s pulled into the center of a deadly conspiracy that not only threatens the lives of this country’s citizens, but the lives of countless others across the globe. This conspiracy calls everyone around her into question, be it new faces from the CIA or old ones from the Bureau. Prepare yourselves for another thrilling and heart-stopping adventure loaded with surprises you won’t see coming.”
Let’s just hope that over the course of this, the show tells a great story and has some great drama, but at the same time gives us something that is a little more scaled-down. One of the biggest problems with the premiere was that it bounced around too much all over the place, and we didn’t have a lot of time to get to know anyone individually.
One of the new additions for the second season is going to be Blair Underwood; meanwhile, Henry Czerny is also going to return after making an appearance at the end of season 1.
