‘The Last Ship’ season 3, episode 9 preview: Chandler’s next move in ‘Eutopia’

Let’s start tonight’s article all about “The Last Ship” with a note on the series’ future: There is not going to be a new episode airing on TNT next week. So what’s going on there? Well, the only thing that we can tell you for now is that the network has scheduled repeats to air during that time.

As for looking into the future, when the show returns on Sunday, August 14, it will be doing so with an episode entitled “Eutopia,” which is certainly an interesting title given that it feels almost like Utopia: Europe edition based solely on first glance. Technically, it is just a new Latin version of Utopia, so we’re not sure of the meaning beyond that.

As for what you can expect to see in this hour, the TNT synopsis makes it clear that Chandler is going to get a lead over the course of the hour that could prove rather useful, especially when it comes to solving some problems that have been plaguing him.

Meanwhile, you’ll also see Kara try to search for some further information at the White House, which has certainly been through its fair share of turmoil lately. We’ll see where that goes, and we’ll preview it further when we get a little bit closer to the episode airing. The one thing that we do know is that this season so far has not been shy about twists, or doing something that will make us rather emotional as a viewer.
