‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7, episode 6 video: Hanna hears from a ghost

“Next time you bury someone, make sure they’re dead.”

This is a quote that you can hear below in the latest “Pretty Little Liars” sneak peek, and it is a particularly spooky one given who we suspect is saying it: Elliot Rollins! Earlier this season, it looked as though the “doctor” was run over by the Liars, but now it suddenly looks like the character could (somehow) be among the living. Hanna hears the ghostly voice over the phone right after a brief work call, and a request from Aria for the two to meet up.

Are things exactly as they seem? Not necessarily, since there are some other possibilities as to why she is hearing that voice.

1. It’s someone else – Maybe someone like Mary Drake knows someone who sounds a little like Rollins does in his true voice. We’ve certainly heard the name Wren bandied about, much in the same way that he always is. Remember when there was that vast theory that he was the one behind all of this?

2. It was pre-recorded – Maybe fore whatever reason Rollins thoughts something bad could be coming his way, and he wanted to haunt the Liars beyond the grave. It’s unlikely, but in this world you can’t rule anything out.

3. Technology – Hey, it’s certainly possible that someone could produce a voice via software that sounds a lot like Rollins, and then play it for someone else to hear. If Charlotte could do everything that she could with computers, anything is possible.
