‘The Fosters’ season 4, episode 6 video: Stef, Lena talk to Mariana about Nick

When it comes to Mariana and “The Fosters,” it is very easy to sympathize with her plight. How would you feel if someone you cared about decided to pick up a gun and put lives in jeopardy? It’s a heartbreaking situation, and it has to be even harder to deal with when you are a teenager and you have your own problems to deal with.

Ultimately, this is why we cannot be altogether furious at Mariana for not telling Nick that she doesn’t love him when he claimed that she was the only reason that he wanted to live. She’s only human, and she’s trying to figure out what she is okay with. It’s clearly a mistake, but we all make them. The real test here comes in figuring out how we are going to recover from them and try to move forward.

Ultimately, another mistake that becomes clear in the sneak peek below is Mariana not admitting to Lena and Stef that she didn’t make things clear to Nick when she visited him. She is embarrassed about that choice, and doesn’t want the two of them to realize that she couldn’t go through with it. There are two problems that are coming up as a result of that.

1. Nick wants to see her again.

2. There is a possibility that he could be released soon. This is something we don’t understand due to the severity of what he did, but this is a rather short preview. There may not be enough time in here to explain what the natural next step is.
