‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7, episode 9 video: When evidence falls apart
There have been many occasions over the years on “Rizzoli & Isles” where we’ve seen Jane Rizzoli do everything that she can in order to solve a case. However, what happens when she has to re-solve one? That is going to be the focus in part of Monday night’s new episode entitled “65 Hours.”
The story is going to begin on the morning that Jane is supposed to testify in a murder trial, where she learns a rather surprising bit of news: The evidence that was going to be used for it has been stolen. This puts the entire Boston Police Department in a bind, as Jane now has less than three days (hence the title for this article) in order to piece together all of the clues and bring the guilty party to justice. Thankfully, she will have Maura in her corner and together they can hopefully figure out what happened.
What we like about the idea of this case is that you’re not entering it with a clean slate insofar as the case goes. You already have someone accused of the crime. Whether or not they are truly guilty remains to be seen, but this is a jumping-off point and perspective that is very different than what we’ve had on the show in a while. It’s certainly possible that the real criminal may not be in custody at all; we’ve seen that happen on some other crime series over the years.
As for the episode’s B story, expect a little bit of magic for Frankie and Nina — or attempts at magic, anyway. Frankie learns that she is a fan, and he’s going to do whatever he can to impress her.

Perhaps Frankie can magically make his obnoxious mother disappear for at least one episode?
