‘The Fosters’ season 4, episode 6 video: Can AJ get Callie to relax?

The fourth season of “The Fosters” has been a tough one for Callie, just as it has been for many other characters. She’s had to deal with the aftermath of both Justina’s actions and her revelations with Brandon, and of course what transpired recently when it comes to Mariana and the shooting.

What we’re trying to say here at the moment is pretty darn simple: This is a woman who definitely needs some sort of a break. Will she get that at some point in the near future? We’re certainly hoping so…

In the sneak peek below from Monday’s episode, you can see AJ doing his part to try to convince her to loosen up a little bit, saying that this is something that she could need in order to feel a little bit better. Specifically, he says this through the lens of a senior-class tradition with water balloons, something that he is very familiar about and she is not, which is mostly interesting because he has been a student in Anchor Beach for a lot less time.

Does this preview make us more or less concerned about the future of these characters? Well, we’re certainly worried about the fact that there seems to be some sort of ideological difference between the two about life, and it’s hard to say one way or another if the show is going to find a way to bridge that gap. Also, you still have to wonder about Callie and Brandon.
