‘Bachelor in Paradise 3’ video: Nick Viall discusses third appearance on franchise

There was a time when Nick Viall claimed that he would be appearing on “Bachelor in Paradise.” Yet, at the same time, here we are! Think of this as further proof that plans do at times change. This is the third appearance from Nick on the franchise, and in the videos below, it’s fairly clear that this is not something lost on him.

Specifically, Nick defends himself coming back so many times by saying that for his second appearance on “The Bachelorette,” he really wasn’t there for any other reason other than that he had a preexisting relationship with Kaitlyn Bristowe that he wanted to try and explore on some level. That didn’t end up working out, and instead he placed second on his second straight edition of the show.

Meanwhile, Nick also says that he is going into this season with a similar sort of “reluctance” to the process that he had back when he was first on Andi Dorfman’s season; he is open to love, but at the same time he doesn’t have much expectations of anything. He’s instead going to see where the journey takes him.

We are definitely curious to see what Nick’s overall experience on the show ends up being like, largely because this is a guy who we could see being incredibly polarizing once again. There are people who love him and claim that he is one of their favorite contestants in the history of the show; yet, at the same time there are also people who cannot stand him and will probably want him gone immediately.
