‘The Amazing Race Canada 4’ episode 6 preview: If only we’d seen ‘Hamilton’…

…We would be able to make some sort of clever reference to it in the title. After all, the contestants on “The Amazing Race Canada” for this coming episode are heading to Hamilton, Ontario, a hard-working city and a place we’ve at least been to a couple of times in our life. However, we cannot quite say that we’ve been there often enough to take stock in anything featured in the promo below.

Specifically, it looks like teams are going to do some sort of aviation challenge that will put some of their greatest fears to the test in the city, which is admittedly one we’re torn on. We’re not a huge fan of tasks that require little to no effort other than “don’t be afraid.” To be fair, maybe there is an added component here (such as a search for something while in the air) that we are not as clear on going into this. The promo is of course going to focus more on the fear of it all.

Meanwhile, the other important highlight of this promo does not have anything to do with the location at all. Instead, it’s drama courtesy of the Express Pass. Frankie & Amy look like they are going to use theirs, which will set off alarms for some of the teams who did not quite realize that Steph & Kristen had it. We never loved their strategy to keep these a secret, even though we do think they’re great racers. The good news is that they still have theirs, and they will probably need to hold onto it given we could easily imagine a team trying to U-Turn them later and them needing that to stay on a level playing field.
