‘Suits’ season 6, episode 4 preview: Could an offer change Mike’s future?
Over the first three episodes of “Suits” season 6, it’s felt pretty clear precisely how much danger Mike Ross has been in. Think specifically in terms of a lot. This is a guy who has learned some not-so-pleasant things about Frank Gallo, felt his loved ones threatened, and also found very few people who he can speak to who understand him.
Will all of this change next week on “Turn”? It’s at least possible that there will be a glimmer of hope; after all, the short synopsis released by USA suggests that Mike could think about a deal that could eventually reduce his sentence. Of course, the thing you have to wonder about with this sort of thing is that the metaphorical juice may not be worth the squeeze. He could learn at some point along the way that this deal has consequences that he may not be willing to expect.
Meanwhile, at the same time Jessica and Louis Litt are going to take different approaches to handling some of the new people working within their building. Knowing Louis, it’s easy to anticipate what some of his moves are going to be.
Finally, Rachel is going to spend part of this episode trying to represent a death row inmate, a difficult task, and something we wonder about in terms of it being brought on by Mike’s sentence. Does that have her feeling all the more sympathetic for people behind bars?
