‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Nicole / Corey drama; season 19 chatter

Nicole -There are a couple of different stories to talk about in this “Big Brother” article, but we want to start with the Reality Blurred article out there suggesting that the show is actively casting another season of the show to air this fall.

How in the world could this happen? The site’s own Andy Dehnart suggests that it could be as an addition to the CBS All Access platform, which is the only idea that makes sense given there is no room on the schedule for it. Maybe this is exciting to some out there, but if this actually happens (we do trust Dehnart as a source of information), it could be an enormous mistake for the franchise. Part of what makes this show work is that it doesn’t suffer from overkill. The last time the series aired outside of the summer was back during season 9, and that is widely regarded as one of the least-successful and overall worst seasons of the show to date. Why run the risk of messing up a good thing?

Sure, there would be fewer expectations given that the show would be seemingly funded more by All Access customers if this theory comes to fruition, but we think that burnout could be big, especially since there is already “Big Brother Canada” in the spring.

As for events going on in the house since our last update, it’s been relatively quiet. While someone else in Natalie has suggested that she’d rather get Bridgette out before Frank, we still don’t see that happening. The biggest “event” from overnight was a Corey / Nicole argument that stemmed from Corey not telling her to go into the Secret Room fast enough. It was incredibly annoying, which reminds us all of the further of our frustrations with Nicole, someone who can be a good player when she is not fixated on making herself a bigger target.
