Is ‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7, episode 6 new tonight on Freeform? What to expect

The past five weeks have been rather generous when it comes to “Pretty Little Liars” episodes airing on Freeform, and with that in mind, we imagine the following news will be a little bit of a bummer to some out there: There’s no new episode coming up tonight.

What may be just as much of a bummer is the reason why: There’s not really a good reason. While the Democratic National Convention is going on, we don’t quite think that this is really that much of a timeslot competitor with this show. At this point, it may have a little bit more to do with the sole fact that “The Bachelorette” is on, and maybe there is a sentiment that these two shows share a pretty significant chunk of the same audience.

Rest assured that there will be several big episodes coming in the weeks that follow, starting with August 2’s “Wanted Dead or Alive.” This will give you a little more information to follow up on the big reveal otherwise known as Ezra’s proposal, and hopefully, will also give us more insight as to precisely how much trouble the Liars are really in. At this point, it is at least clear that they know they are facing some pretty significant danger, given what happened to Dr. Rollins and the police having at least some competent people on staff.

Also, we anticipate some other relationship developments and a few twists and turns. It wouldn’t be “Pretty Little Liars” without them!
