‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: A Power of Veto winner and a surprise

Big Brother -So … what’s the surprise? We figure that we’ll get to that first in this “Big Brother” article, since it’s actually rather simple: The person who won the Veto.

Much to our surprise, Michelle pulled through to take this one! While we do not necessarily think that she needed to win it, it may have been important to her for two separate reasons. For one, this marked an opportunity for her to help secure that Frank goes home this week. Also, this may have also allowed her an opportunity to start to work on her resume. Unless you are a unicorn player like a Dr. Will Kirby who comes along only once in a generation, you probably have to win competitions in order to convince some people who don’t understand the game that you did something … and there are a lot of those people this time. Michelle can point to this down the road as an achievement.

Michelle of course celebrated hard with some of the other women in the house, and that apparently irked Paulie … which is a little ironic given how cocky he’s been. We do think that Michelle’s social graces have been less than stellar, but he doesn’t have much room to be mad here.

In the end, don’t expect much out of the rest of the week now. There’s no reason for anyone to want to keep Frank over Bridgette, unless some of the guys rally together and realize that they need to ensure that there is another big target in the game. Even with that, Paul, Victor, Paulie, and Corey are the only guys voting, which means that they would need the support of someone like Natalie to make the move work … and this would also imply Paulie and Corey not voting with their showmances. This seems almost impossible to pull off for now, unless Michelle REALLY starts getting driven by her hatred of Bridgette from earlier this season.
