‘Power’ season 3, episode 2 video: The threat is real for Ghost
The third season of “Power” premiered last week with an episode that tried, at least for a little bit, to make us think that there was a chance Jamie could actually stay on the straight and narrow. He operated his club business, tried to eliminate some of the bad eggs from his life, and in turn, tried to make us think that his relationship with Angela was stable and based on trust.
Well, then he learned that Lobos was still alive, and he knows what that means: There will always be a target out on him.
In the preview below for the next new episode of the show, you can see Ghost a little bit more in his element, although he is more defense perhaps than ever before. He’s aware of the promises that he has made, and cannot let on the appearance that he is slipping back into any old ways.
Meanwhile, be ready for some more trust issues elsewhere with Holly, and for Tommy to specifically revisit what he was told by Lobos at the end of the season 2 finale: If he wants to secure his safety in the long-term, he has to fulfil his own end of the bargain and put a bullet in his head. He’s already seen perhaps the first ramification of not coming through on that plan, so Sunday’s episode could be essential in dictating his future.
Rest assured that we anticipate the entirety of the season from here on out to be crazy; we’re going to be here to document every single step of it.
