‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Bridgette’s birthday blues

Bridgette -While there hasn’t been too much that has happened in the “Big Brother” house on Saturday morning so far, there are a few other highlights from Friday night to get through.

One of them is rather silly, but it could be interesting when it comes to some long-term ramifications in the game. It wasn’t too long ago that it was Bridgette’s birthday in the house. However, nobody felt compelled to celebrate it, and then some of the other women in the house (Zakiyah and Michelle were the biggest proponents) used some of her cake ingredients to make something for a fake giraffe instead days later.

Did Bridgette say she didn’t want to make it a big deal that it was her birthday? Sure, but who’s going to say “make a huge cake and party for me” unless you’re a huge narcissist? Plus, Zakiyah and Michelle knew they were being somewhat mean with the whole giraffe thing, so for Bridgette to make it clear she felt bad about it on the feeds last night really is not any surprise. It eventually got back to Michelle, who dismissed it by saying that she didn’t ask for one.

Let’s be clear that this is on Frank and many of Bridgette’s friends in the house for not throwing her a party as much as anyone, but the people who went out of their way to be passive-aggressive about it could lose a jury vote from Bridgette if they make it far. This is the flaw in Zakiyah and Michelle’s games right now; they are both among the better players in the house, but they don’t often endear themselves well. Even Paulie was complaining about Zakiyah last night, though Paulie’s hardly someone you really want to pull for either.

In closing, the Paulie / Paul bromance is something that we probably have glossed over a little in these articles, but it’s real, and major kudos to Paul for working his way in there, and not really letting Victor’s reentry to the game impact that.
