‘The Fosters’ season 4, episode 5 video: Emma, Mariana team up

For those of you wanting to see a little bit of something different on “The Fosters,” Monday night’s new episode will provide that opportunity. Mariana has gone through an extremely difficult time in the wake of what transpired with Nick, and the sneak peek below marks a unique opportunity for her to dive head-first into something different, and something that could put Anchor Beach on the map when it comes to STEAM.

There is a robotics competition coming up, and the teacher is doing his part to find the right three people to lead the charge for the class. Emma encourages Mariana to get involved, mostly because there has never been a woman representative for the school in this department. Eventually, Mariana does raise her hand, and we will see precisely what happens from here.

Hopefully, we’ll have a chance to see more of this story over the coming weeks, and it will give Mariana something more positive to focus on. Who knows? Maybe it will also allow her to have even more of an interest in the subject matter than before. While we do know that much of the meat of this show is the drama more so than anything else, you do need a few lighter moments in here to balance it out, and think that some of these characters can have lives that are a little more normal.
