‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6 spoilers: ‘The Other Shoe’ drops

Before we get to coverage of the “Once Upon a Time” panel at San Diego Comic-Con a little bit later this weekend, why not go ahead and share some episode-title news?

In the post below on Twitter from executive producer Adam Horowitz, you can see that “The Other Shoe” is the title for the third episode of season 6. Other than the part of a famous expression in “the other shoe drops,” we would assume that this is some sort of reference to Cinderella. We have already heard that this is around when the character will be returning to the show; personally, it’s going to be rather nice to revisit this part of the story. Cinderella is one of the more notable guest characters from the first season, and we’re actually somewhat surprised that the show has not tried to revisit her more than they have.

If you missed it or forgot, this episode joins two other already-titled episodes this season in “The Savior” and “A Bitter Draught.” So far, what we know about season 6 is that we’re going to be adopting more of a season 1 / season 2 format in terms of storytelling, and that much of the season will be promoted through the lens of Regina and the Evil Queen splitting. We’ve seen what some of the promotional art for the new season is at Comic-Con, and it is very much Regina-based.

As far as new characters, there will be plenty of people coming from the Land of Untold Stories, and hopefully they will bring some new and exciting things to the table.
