‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 8 preview: A quick tease and rumor patrol

There is a new episode of “Girl Meets World” coming out on Friday, and for the most part, the producers have been fairly quiet on what is coming … though we do know that we’re heading to a famous ski lodge from “Boy Meets World,” and that in the process there could be some romantic intrigue.

Per the show’s “Girl Meets Writers” account below, you can get the smallest of teases regarding not only Friday’s episode, but what is beyond that, including a Riley / Lucas / Maya decision and also a wedding, presumably one featuring Shawn Hunter and Maya’s mother. (After all, they recently got engaged — that’s a rather fast turnaround!) The final two teases on here are particularly cryptic, especially the one about Belgium, which doesn’t seem to have much to do with anything. then again, we haven’t looked too far ahead when it comes to stories coming up after the wedding.

We’ll be back tomorrow night with more on “Girl Meets Ski Lodge: Part 1,” which we certainly hope will be entertaining.

Now, we also want to touch for a moment or two on the bizarre rumors this week that the show has been canceled. It’s not true. The Disney Channel has not made a decision one way or another on the future of the series, and we’re hopeful that a fourth season will eventually come out. We especially don’t think that this is a version of the show that can end abruptly and without some sort of indication as to what the future will be.
