‘UnREAL’ season 2 spoilers: Who’s destroying Everlasting now?

We pose the question above for this “UnREAL” article for a very particular reason, and it is mainly this: Isn’t there always someone who wants to destroy “Everlasting” from within? You’ve got multiple people working on the show who probably hate it, and are just using it as a stepping stone in their careers. Then, you also have other people who end up getting severely burned by the show to the point that they want revenge.

Based on what happened to him at the end of this past episode when it comes to Darius’ arrest, Coleman clearly has a reason to want revenge. He may try to get just that on the penultimate episode of the season (airing on August 1) entitled “Espionage,” and you can get some further information in terms of what to expect via the official synopsis below:

“As Coleman attempts to get Rachel to help him destroy Quinn and bring down Everlasting, Rachel has an alternative plan in store. Darius and Jay team up to secure their ideal final two contestants, but the alliance is quickly tested. Quinn gets some news that changes her perspective on the show and her life.”

The person we feel probably the most bummed-out for (or at least as bummed-out as we can given his moral compass) is Jay, mostly because nothing ever seems to really work out for that guy. As for Quinn and a new-found perspective, we wonder exactly what it could be that causes her to think that way. After all, she was relatively unfazed by the death of her father, and while the two weren’t close, that does still qualify as a major life event.
