Tuesday and Wednesday night’s new episodes of “America’s Got Talent” are coming, and there are going to be quite an array of reasons to check those out. For one, we’ve still got a great array of talent, but we also at the same time have some memorable guest judges coming to deliver the final Golden Buzzers of the season.
First and foremost, we’ve got a guy in George Lopez who, like Howie Mandel, has been performing on stage well over half of his life at this point. We’d like to think that this makes him a very good judge for this sort of show, and maybe he’ll help to identify some other great variety like the ones that we saw last week. It was great to see Jon Dorenbos and Sofie Dossi get some love from Ne-Yo and Reba McEntire last week, since they are the sorts of acts that really do define this show even more than singer.s
Meanwhile, we’ve also got Louis Tomlinson, which is going to be exciting in particular for fans of One Direction to see him on the show. He’s talked about wanting to be a judge on a show like “The X Factor,” and while that hasn’t happened, we know that he has mentored contestants before. He certainly knows what it’s like to go through an experience like this in a way that the rest of the panel does not. We’ll see what he brings to the table.
The preview below gives you a glimpse of some of the talent still to come, and clearly, one of them will be Tape Face! He appeared last in the premiere episode, and his performance went viral in a way that few other non-singers have over the course of the season so far.
