‘Ray Donovan’ season 4, episode 5 preview: Ray and Mickey’s road trip

We have to admit that at various points on “Ray Donovan” over the years, we have seriously doubted whether or not we would ever see Ray and Mickey in the same room ever again. Just think about all that’s happened between the two; if you were Ray, would you even want to be close to this guy? We certainly can imagine there being a case for not wanting to.

Anyhow, there are some circumstances in this world that call for a team-up, regardless of whether or not the parties involved want to see that happen. This is going to be at the core of the next new episode entitled “Get Even Before Leavin’,” where the two parties engage in a journey to Primm in hopes of getting some money back. As per usual, though, they’re not the only people with some crazy stuff going on.

The synopsis below, per TV Guide, provides a pretty good idea as to what to expect:

“With the Russian mob threatening his family, Ray goes on a road trip with Mickey to Primm in hopes of recovering money stolen from a local casino owner. Meanwhile, Terry gains confidence as a trainer and gets renewed interest in the gym; and Bunchy and Bridget take turns looking after baby Maria when Teresa withdraws to her family’s house to seek refuge from the pressures of being a new mom.”

We’re now a third of the way through the season, so there are some crazy things sure to come! For Bunchy and Bridget in particular, we imagine that this storyline will be far more eventful than this synopsis lets on.
