‘NCIS’ season 14: Wilmer Valderrama shares premiere title!
For those of you out there interested in even the slightest bit of “NCIS” scoop, we come bearing good news: The title for the premiere!
In a post on Twitter, new cast member Wilmer Valderrama made it clear that “Rogue” is the title for the first episode. That’s not really much in the way of a clue, but we imagine that it could be a reference to one of our new characters.
When you think about all of the new additions for the season, whether it be Valderrama, Jennifer Esposito, or the recently-promoted Duane Henry (who appeared at the end of last season), this is going to feel very much like a very new series, and a mixture of both old and new. You’ve got some of the original cast members like Mark Harmon, Pauley Perrette, David McCallum, and (to an extent) Sean Murray, and then you’ve got these newbies. People like Rocky Carroll and Emily Wickersham are now somewhere in the middle.
Much like with Emily, we imagine that the show is going to do its part in the immediate future to give us opportunities to know some of these characters better. From there, we will then see precisely how the remainder of the story unfolds. The new season, after all, is still a really long time away. That leaves us with plenty of opportunities to prepare for some of the stories that are coming, and the changes that could shake up the show. We’ll have some further news soon!
