‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 4, episode 8 preview: Catherine plays a game of trust
Tonight, “Beauty and the Beast” gave you an episode that brought a lot of interesting / entertaining things to the table. There was some drama, there were some (possible) betrayals, but in the end, it was simply a new equilibrium. Catherine promised that she could not continue to play both Vincent and the DHS’ side, so superficially she had to choose one. Therefore, her bosses think that she did everything that she could in order to convince him to turn himself in.
Did she really? Not so much. This was a plan buried within a plan, and a smart one to buy them some time. There will be another idea that surfaces on next week’s “Love is a Battlefield,” but will Vincent get any closer to getting answers? That’s something that the synopsis below is not really able to answer right now:
“Vincent (Jay Ryan) goes undercover with a sexy operative (guest star AnnaLynne McCord), who Cat (Kristin Kreuk) discovers is an assassin. Vincent has to play both sides, while Cat has to convince DHS she can still be trusted.”
We do hope that some of these answers come quickly, mostly because one of the last things that we want to see on the show is for the answers to come right up against the series finale. We want some time, after all, for this series to continue to develop itself on the way to the finale, and that includes having some time for proper closure. We’re pretty hopeful, after all, that a happy ending could be coming up.
