‘Vikings’ season 4, episode 11 video: Comic-Con teaser hints at older Ragnar

For those of you who love “Vikings” (and why wouldn’t you?), there’s going to be some great stuff coming up next week. After all, the History series is going to be heading out to San Diego Comic-Con!

There is a panel for the show taking place on Friday, July 22 at Room 6BCF, and if you want to be there, be ready in advance of the 5:45 p.m. Pacific start time. Here’s what the official listing for the panel says about what to expect:

“Vikings” returns to SDCC. Travis Fimmel (“Ragnar”), Katheryn Winnick (“Lagertha”), Clive Standen (“Rollo”), Alexander Ludwig (“Bjorn”), Gustaf Skarsgard (“Floki”) and Michael Hirst (writer/creator) will reveal an exclusive sneak peek of the new season. Don’t miss out – come join them and find out what the gods have in store!

To go along with that, what we have for you courtesy of the video below is more or less a promo of a promo. It’s the quickest of teases regarding what could be coming in episode 11 of season 4, which is expected to premiere a little bit later in the year. The biggest takeaway from the clip (which is extremely short) is that Ragnar has aged significantly due to the time jump, and that his children are going to be playing a much larger role than ever before. We’re hoping that it will be a season stuffed full of interesting developments, not to mention some more epic battle sequences like we saw in the first half of the season.
