‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga reunite

Who doesn’t love celebrating Christmas in July? One way or another, that is what we’re doing with the next new episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” airing on Bravo Sunday night. The holiday from 2015 is here, and you’re going to see to go along with that the first time Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga since before the former went to prison.

So how will that reunion go? The synopsis below doesn’t quite give you a sense as to what will happen, but it also makes it clear that Teresa and Jacqueline Laurita are going to be speaking again via phone, as well:

“It’s Christmas in Jersey! Melissa hosts the Gorga/Giudice Christmas Eve Dinner and reunites with Teresa for the first time in a year. Later, Jacqueline gets a surprise call from Teresa as Dolores attempts to negotiate peace between the two ex-BFFs. Meanwhile, Joe Giudice and Gia are at odds over her decision to spend New Year’s Eve away from the family.”

The sneak peek below, complete with some great facial expressions here and there, is all about Teresa and Jacqueline speaking to each other. Teresa makes it clear that she wants a fresh start, and after everything that she went through in the past year, we certainly get that. Petty drama on this show probably pales in comparison to being behind bars.

Now that we’ve said that, there is no guarantee that this former friendship will ever be what it once was. Even in the midst of devastation, you cannot really shove away all that is in the past.
