‘Mr. Robot’ season 2, episode 3 preview: Take down the takedown

Through two episodes and roughly an hour and a half of television tonight, “Mr. Robot” was fantastic. It was certainly weird, but at this point we don’t quite know what else you expect to see from this show. It also was fantastic as the inner struggle between Elliot and his other side continues to stretch and stretch. We’re just waiting for it to snap.

Will this happen on the next new episode of the show? You have to consider it possible, given where we’ve seen him go so far in between his interactions with Ray, his interactions with himself, and also some of those quiet periods where you’re left to wait and wonder. He’s not the only character on the show, so recall that there are other major stories that need to move forward. For example, can Angela continue her awesome trajectory? You have to hope so, just as you have to hope, oddly as it seems, that Joanna remains so wicket.

In case you’re wondering and/or you love the convention, the title for the next episode is “eps2.1_k3rnel-pan1c.ksd.” Meanwhile, the synopsis can be seen below:

“elliot vows to beat mr. robot but it aint easy, smh. angela sees behind the scenes at evil corp. sh*t hits fan with fsociety.”

There is a long wait to go this season, and with that, we cannot put too much stock in anything mentioned here to be concrete. This is a journey of interspersed moments and thoughts. We won’t see all of it, but we’ll probably see enough to understand.
