‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2 spoilers: Caity Lotz shares premiere title!

The second season of “Legends of Tomorrow” has been largely under wraps for some time, but as we get further and further into production, hopefully the veil on a few separate things will be lifted!

For the time being, we are at least happy to report one thing: The episode title for the premiere! According to a post on Twitter from series star Caity Lotz, we’ll be starting off the season with “Out of Time.” It’s certainly ironic given the subject matter of the show, and we do wonder what it means. Could we be referring to an incident that cannot be changed no matter where Sara Lance and company travel? Or, could it be something keeping them from getting onto the Waverider in the first place? Both are intriguing possibilities.

The biggest tease that has been hinted at to date is the arrival of Rex Tyler (Patrick J. Adams) to the show as a member of the Justice Society of America. He warns the Legends against continuing their time-traveling adventures, but unfortunately we don’t hear anything more from him beyond that. It’s hard to figure Adams into too many episodes thanks to his “Suits” commitment, so he will have to make the most of his limited time moving forward.

Also, we expect to see less of Wentworth Miller a.k.a. Captain Cold on the show moving forward, largely because of the sole fact that he is a regular across the entire superhero universe on The CW rather than specifically this show. Meanwhile, you could see more of John Barrowman herethanks to him signing a similar deal.
