‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7, episode 7 preview: The story for Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander in ‘Dead Weight’
Next week marks the 99th episode of “Rizzoli & Isles.” Basically, it’s the thing where you are really close to a milestone, and you have to find a way to keep people excited until you get there. Our hope is that “Dead Weight” airing in one week’s time manages to do the trick.
The synopsis below gives us at least a good idea of what the story will be for Sasha Alexander, Angie Harmon, and the rest of the cast, and it certainly looks interesting:
“When a bicyclist appears to spontaneously combust, Maura proves his bizarre death is actually a murder and helps catch the science-savvy killer. Meanwhile, Jane’s invited to teach a class of FBI recruits at Quantico.”
The first thing we enjoy upon reading this is that it looks as though there’s going to be a lot of humor in it. For one, having Jane put into a position of teacher should be interest, given that we’ve always found her to be more effective in the field than giving instruction, even if she is a wealth of knowledge at this point in her career.
Meanwhile, for Maura this just sounds interesting from more of the classic mystery-solving angle, since trying to figure out why someone on a bicycle explodes has to be interesting from a scientific standpoint. For those who were wanting to see Maura doing what she does best on the show, “Dead Weight” could serve as that opportunity. Hopefully, it won’t be the last time over the course of the series.
