‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: Meet Siggy Flicker

There have been many big “Real Housewives” introductions over the years, so will Siggy Flicker be the latest? Much is in the eye of the beholder.

In the video below from Sunday night’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey” premiere, you have the first real opportunity to view new cast member Siggy Flicker in action. There have certainly been more lavish introductions to Housewives over the years, but this may be one of the funniest. Siggy just had a facelift, and she turns up sporting big sunglasses because she doesn’t want anyone to see her. There is already great irony in what she says, which probably makes her good for the show. After all, she doesn’t want people to see her, and yet at the same time she is turning up in front of a TV camera!

To go along with this sneak peek, Jacqueline Laurita also gives the new cast member a worthy introduction, making it clear that she comes from a different background than many of the other women. Also, she talks about how good of a loyal friend she is. Now that she is on this show, we’re pretty darn sure that will be tested! There’s always a tendency for it to be; just look at other show friendships for evidence.

Throughout the coming episodes, we’re sure that we will learn more about Siggy and what she brings to the show. For now, we will at least say that this is as solid a start for a new cast member as we are going to see.
