‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7 spoilers: (Potential) courtroom drama
We always do enjoy episodes of any crime show that revolve around the courtroom, mostly because characters are out of their element. Could we see some of that on “Rizzoli & Isles” early next month? For now, the answer is “possibly.”
The thing is, we don’t actually know for sure if Jane Rizzoli is going to actually be in court during “65 Hours” on August 1. We just know that she will do her part to head in that direction. What’s the problem? According to the short synopsis for the episode (per SpoilerTV), missing evidence will get in the way:
“On the morning that Jane is supposed to testify in a murder trial, she discovers that a key piece of evidence has been stolen; Frankie decides to learn some magic tricks to impress Nina.”
This episode is the ninth of the final season, so of course we wonder if Jane’s story is connected to the endgame. As for Frankie and Nina’s, probably not. The two getting together seems like a strong enough conclusion for them, and we can envision their future. Beyond this episode, there are only four more to go in the series. If that is not a terrifying thought for a longtime fan, what is? At this point, we all have interpretations of how the show should end. The ideal would be that it takes a little bit of all of these said ideas and rolls them into one, but that’s unlikely.
