‘Girl Meets World’ season 3, episode 7 video: How far will Maya go?

At the end of Friday night’s new episode of “Girl Meets World,” Maya made a proclamation: The old her was back! Gone was the incarnation who was doing things as a reflection of Riley. Instead, she had a little more of her rebellious spirit.

Now comes the question of Frankenstein’s monster. There were so many people out there who wanted this old Maya back, but are they going to be prepared for what they ended up receiving as a result of these pleas? We have a sinking suspicion that it is not going to be precisely what they bargained for at all.

In the promo below for the next episode, you can see Sabrina Carpenter’s character committing a number of mischievous acts. She’s pulling pranks, she’s skipping class, and it looks like eventually she may go too far and vandalize. Is she really the culprit? At the tail end of this, she seems interested in blaming Riley to a certain extent for something. We’d hope there wouldn’t be some tension in their friendship so soon after her change, but here we are.

After what we saw Friday night on “Girl Meets Upstate.” We’re also not expecting answers with Lucas anytime soon. There was a golden opportunity to reveal his true feelings, but the showrunners opted against it. As we’ve said, this is not a show about romance, so we get the move. Yet, at the same time, the longer you put it off, and the more it becomes the elephant in the room.
