‘Murder in the First’ season 3 spoilers: The story of ‘Follow the Money’
The more we hear on “Murder in the First” season 3, the more obvious it becomes that the Normandy Parker case will envelop most of the season. Personally, we’re not altogether upset by this. Sure, we do want justice in due time, but we also want the series to remain compelling. Putting this at the center of the action is a way to ensure that the pace never slows down.
For further proof of that, know that the upcoming July 24 episode entitled “Follow the Money” will continue this story. The synopsis below, via SpoilerTV, provides a generous dose of proof of that very thing:
“The murder of a prime suspect in the Normandy Parker case seems to prove Terry’s conspiracy theory. Siletti’s fragile peace with his family is upended by a ruinous civil lawsuit compounding his legal troubles.”
It’s also worth noting that there will be a Hildy / Terry storyline in this episode, as well, but there are certain things that are a little too spoilery to discuss right now. Rest assured that this story plays a role in the season for some time to come.
Sure, we’re only two episodes in, and it’s hard to make huge judgments because of that. Yet, we still feel as though “Murder in the First” is firing on all cylinders now more than ever. This season brings tense drama to the table, but there are also moments of lightness and little victories. The unfortunate thing is that said lightness will probably dissipate over time; there is often a calm before the storm.
