‘Doctor Who’ season 10: See new video with Matt Lucas, Pearl Mackie

We’re not sure if the BBC is going to continue to be so keen on releasing “Doctor Who” behind-the-scenes videos for the entirety of their season 10 filming, but we certainly would not complain if they continued to do so.

If you look below, you can see new Companion Pearl Mackie alongside the returning Matt Lucas having a little bit of a fun back-and-forth, while also wishing a certain Welsh football team good luck. While neither actor is from Wales, the show is very important to the local community. It films in Cardiff, and it employs many Welsh actors and crew members.

Is there anything to make of the particular location in which they are filming? We do understand the temptation that could come with drawing that conclusion; however, we just don’t have any evidence that this is anything other than these two people recording the video from an indoor location. We don’t want to start getting to the point where something is confirmed just based on where two people are standing.

Even if this video is completely inconsequential when it comes to anything pertaining to the show, we’re still admittedly rather thrilled to have it. After all, it’s nice to see the two actors doing something that is rather fun while on set; in particular, the joke about the skill of the makeup team is particularly worthy of a laugh or two.
