‘Game of Thrones’ season 7: The five characters in most danger

LogoDeath is an inevitability on a show like “Game of Thrones.” We’ve seen it happen so many times over the years, and in many ways, it goes without saying that we are going to continue to see it. The only question that remains is precisely how that will be. Who will the show decide to kill next? It’s clear that there will probably be heroes who fall by the end of this, just as there will probably be some villains who remain. Our purpose here is mostly to pinpoint the five people who, moving into season 7, we’re the most concerned for.

1. Jon Snow – Sure, it seems weird to label someone here who is already dead. Yet, what bigger purpose does he have? We could easily see him fighting off the White Walkers and dying for good in the process. Once the North is protected, we think that his story and purpose is over. We don’t see him ever being a long-term ruler.

2. Cersei Lannister – We don’t even see her being a short-term ruler. She’s far too nasty, and while it is in part a result of skill that she is still alive, it’s also a little bit of luck that has gotten her this far. Somehow, she’s not going to make it to the end of this story.

3. Ser Jorah – Hey, the main has greyscale, and we don’t know what the cure for that is. He is someone who, like Jon, probably does have a greater purpose that needs to be carried out; yet, we cannot imagine him living that much longer than that.

4. Melisandre – What better way for her to prove herself trustworthy to Jon Snow and his side than to give up her own life? It seems as though she is ready to die, and at this point just waiting for that opportunity.

5. Arya Stark – We love Arya; however, we do think she is too far gone when it comes to going down the rabbit hole of revenge. After all she has gone through, can someone like her even function when the war is over?
