‘Murder in the First’ season 3, episode 3 preview: The Normandy Parker case continues
Tonight on TNT, “Murder in the First” gave us an episode that really ran the gamut when it comes to emotions, especially when it comes to the Terry character. At one point, he was involved in a moment that almost every fan wanted to see, as we had a chance to see he and Hildy come together romantically after she learned that the cancer diagnosis was false. However, within the same hour he found himself at the center of a public crisis over the death of an unarmed man.
So how do we follow up this episode? Well, we can tell you that the title for the next hour is “Black and Blue,” and the synopsis below makes it clear that the Normandy Parker investigation is continuing while Arkin and Siletti have some other issues that they are dealing with:
“Public pressure on Terry and the SFPD continues to rise for the shooting death of an unarmed suspect. Hildy tracks down the fugitive in the Normandy Parker murder. Arkin advises Siletti to reconcile with his wife, as she may be the key to winning – or losing – his case.”
Two episodes in, and we would say that this is probably the most momentum that the show has had to date … and we don’t say that lightly given some crazy stuff happened to season 2. It’s just that getting Hildy and Terry potentially together changes the game somewhat, since it adds stakes for the two of them. They now have something more to lose.
