‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6 spoilers: The role of Belle moving forward

The sixth season of “Once Upon a Time” will begin filming soon, and in addition to the whole Regina / Evil Queen mystery at present, one other story we are especially curious about is the future of Belle and Rumpelstiltskin. The last we saw the two of them, Belle was still trapped, and had not been awoken from the sleeping curse. There’s still no precise word on if or when she will be revived, but this is a story that is not being abandoned or forgotten about moving forward.

If you’ve got a hankering for a little more news on this subject, just take a look at what executive producer Edward Kitsis teased on the subject recently in a new TVLine interview:

“They will be going on an adventure together… or as ‘together’ as they can be with Belle still stashed inside a decorative container. ‘Belle is with Rumple — she’s in Pandora’s Box, in the sleeping curse.”

For us, one of the biggest question marks to us doesn’t actually revolve around whether or not Belle will be brought back; instead, it is more how there really can be any hope for Rumple and Belle when, in the end, he hasn’t really done much to earn her, and given all of the broken promises and insecurities, is there really even a way for these two to actually move forward in any way? Maybe this is something that could be explored.
