‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: Grant Gustin hypes up first two episodes
Were you already excited for the premiere of “The Flash“? Given what happened at the end of season 2 with Flashpoint being born, it was pretty darn clear that we were going to have an opportunity to see some really exciting stuff at the start of season 3. We still don’t know exactly how long this story will last, but you don’t just end your season with Barry Allen going back in time to save his mother without expecting consequences.
Grant Gustin has now read the first two episodes of the season, and based on what he said on Twitter (see below), we’re in for quite a treat. One of the things that could be rather interesting here is seeing if the show moves any quicker this year when it comes to revealing the Big Bad. The past two years, we did not know the identity of the main villain until at the earliest the midseason finale. Last season, it took even longer with Zoom.
Ultimately, there’s a reason that the producers are not giving away much about the upcoming season, and much of that is due to them saving a whole lot of good stuff for down the road. We’ll have a chance to hopefully learn specifically a few new details at Comic-Con later this month, and who knows? Maybe after some of the actors arrive on set, the network will be a little more keen to start making some announcements.
