‘Ballers’ season 2 video: Go behind the scenes with Dwayne Johnson, cast

Now that HBO’s Sunday programming block including “Game of Thrones” and “Silicon Valley” is over, we’re starting to see on the horizon some of the other shows that they’ve got down the pipeline. “The Night Of” is one that we’re certainly excited about, even though it is also one that is a little bit enigmatic.

As for “Ballers,” we already know what we’re going to get: A fairly realistic depiction of the world of sports management from a financial point of view, and one featuring characters who are certainly stuffed full of their fair share of flaws. Spencer Strasmore certainly is at the top of this list.

In the video below, you can see Dwayne Johnson and many other cast members specifically discuss behind the scenes what their goals are for the fourth season, and how they include showing even more of the football world, both its positives and its negatives. This video also stresses more the importance of Andy Garcia, who is coming aboard this season for what certainly seems to be an incredibly important role. He will be someone with a history with Spencer, and while they may have a few friendly moments here and there, it’s clear that there is a rivalry that will play out and they have some clear differences in terms of how they like to conduct business.

As for Ricky and Charles, the jury is still out on where they’re going to end up. Here’s to hoping that they at least start to learn from some of their past mistakes.
