Is ‘Outcast’ episode 5 new tonight on Cinemax?
Over the past month or so, Cinemax has been able to attract some viewers to the network with its version of “Outcast,” a show that to us has really done a great job with the source material. Not only has it converted well to a TV audience, but we also feel like this is one of the better exorcism-related products out there. (Yes, “exorcism-related products” is a strange thing to say; we just mean that it is better than most of the movies we’ve seen on the subject!)
Unfortunately, you’re going to have to wait a little while longer to see where the Robert Kirkman adaptation goes next. Cinemax has decided that they are going to wait for a week to give you the rest of the story, and it’s fairly easy to understand why thanks to the July 4 holiday. It’s never a good time for ratings, and while we know that most people with Cinemax probably can afford a DVR and don’t have to watch it live, premium cable networks do still like having the best live+same day numbers possible.
You’ll luckily get some new episodes of “Outcast” airing throughout the month of July without any problem, and in the event you are behind, rest assured that you can catch a marathon of the first four episodes starting tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. The tweet below is from yesterday, hence why Cinemax says “tomorrow.” If you missed recording an episode or two or don’t have a DVR, that’s a great way to catch up.
If you want to get some details about several upcoming episodes of “Outcast,” rest assured that we’ve got them for you over at this link!
