Friday nights are during the season “Hawaii Five-0” nights; now, they are nights to await the return of the show! We’re at least happy now to report that you don’t have to wait too much longer for the next milestone to be reached in this summer preparation.
In a post on Twitter from earlier this week, executive producer Peter M. Lenkov confirmed that filming for the new season will begin next week, and that means that there’ll probably be a more consistent stream of scoop out there to report on. This is a show that could do a lot of exciting things over the course of the next batch of episodes. Here are just some of our hopes.
1. More Danny / McGarrett bonding – Given what happened with the transplant, it feels easy to assume that the two of them are going to be closer. Yet, at the same time, we can also imagine that this move could lead to even more bickering from the two of them, since there could be the whole concept of “owing someone” that comes out of it.
2. Adam’s release – It feels like this is coming, and while him getting out could mean some more happiness for him and Kono, there are always more challenges that could await the two of them.
3. More Julie Benz – While Abby and Chin clearly have a lot to work through, we would like to see them both find some sort of happiness before we get to the end of the series. Since we don’t know how many years it has left, why not just start to move in that direction now?
