Excited to see some life-model decoys on “Agents of SHIELD” season 4? Well, we are at the very least excited to have some further news on one of them.
According to TVLine, the ABC series is in the process of casting Aida, a recurring role of a “very attractive” robot who is still trying to figure out social decorum. She may have the movement part of the equation down, but she still treats every situation a little bit more formal than she really should.
The site also claims that the show is casting two Latino brothers, who of whom is extremely dangerous while the other is paralyzed in a wheelchair. There’s not a whole lot going on there, but it is certainly assumed that the show would need to cast a ton of new characters given where they are right now. Brett Dalton was seemingly written out of the show thanks to the end of Hive; for now, it’s hard to imagine just how he is going to return to the series. Meanwhile, the future of Adrianne Palicki (Bobbi Morse) and Nick Blood (Lance Hunter) is not entirely clear given that they had their “spy’s goodbye” on this show and were supposed to be going over to “Marvel’s Most Wanted.” That series was not ordered, so now there is an air of mystery floating around out there.
There will be more casting news inevitably coming up this summer; after all, these are roles that do need to be filled!
