‘The Night Shift’ season 3, episode 6 review: How will Jordan react to TC, Jessica romance?

On the last episode of “The Night Shift” we saw the start of a few new romances like Scott and Annie and TC and Jessica, but are any of these romances going to turn into something deeper or will they quickly flame out? Many fans want to see Jordan and TC back together again (we are some of those fans), so we suspect these romances they are dabbling in right now won’t last… or at least that’s what we are hoping.

Jordan may not have wanted to get too deeply involved with Sam by going to the B&B with him on the last episode, but things are going quite well in the bedroom for the two of them. Don’t feel too badly for TC though, because he’s sleeping with Jessica and she’s got a little “50 Shades of Grey” nonsense going on.

Shannon tells Jordan that she’s seen TC and Jessica cozying up together and it gives her pause about her own romance with Sam (in fact she’s decided to meet some more men and not be exclusive with Sam). When he brings her a portable fan to the hospital (and they share a kiss), Topher tells TC so he doesn’t hear it as gossip from someone else and TC says he’s happy for her… but is he really happy for her or is he swallowing his feelings?

Scott and Annie have also gotten pretty hot and heavy (which we love) and we saw that Kenny is sleeping with a girl from the hospital, but he’s keeping it on the down low because they work together. Jordan tries to warn Scott not to get involved with Annie, but he’s not willing to listen, because he knows the risks that come along with being a recovering alcoholic and is willing to roll the dice. Scott talks to TC about dating Annie and TC takes the news better then we thought he would.

It was tough to hear TC say that he’s moved on from Jordan, but in our heart of hearts we really don’t believe it (we don’t want to believe it). We are hoping that before the end of the season he will open his heart back up to Jordan and ditch the female Christian Grey wannabe. Episode grade: A-
